The Sherburne History Center provides a variety of programs and events for all ages. Monthly highlights include Book Club, Family History Class, and Elk River History Buffs. Annually we hold a Winter Lecture Series, Sherburne History Day birthday party, summer Ice Cream Social, and the Christmas Tree Ornament Festival. We also have an Annual Meeting, fundraisers, and volunteer appreciation events. With nearly 100 programs per year, there’s always something going on at SHC!

06 – 1:00 pm – Book Club: meeting each month, in October reading and discussing the book The Guilty Dead by P. J. Tracy.
15 – 10:30 am to Noon: True Crime and the Mystery Writer. Book signing with authors Christine Husom, John Gaspard, and Julie Holmes.
19 – 2:00 pm – SHC Annual Meeting
20 – 9:30 am – Elk River History Buffs: Topic of local historical interest offered at the Elk river Activity Center. Detail via the Elk River Seniors website.
22– 10:30 am–Family History: Monthly discussion group that gathers at SHC to learn about family history research and discuss their project.
27 – 2:00 pm – Open Mic (minus the mic) poetry reading
3–1:00 pm–Book Club: meeting each month, in November reading and discussing Good Grief: The Story of Charles Schultz by Rheta Grimsley Johnson.
5–10: am to 12:00 noon–Harvest Fest Children’s craft projects to help celebrate the autumn season

24–Thanksgiving Holiday–Museum Closed
