Programs & Events Schedule

The Sherburne History Center provides a variety of programs and events for all ages. Monthly highlights include Book Club, Family History Class, and Elk River History Buffs. Annually we hold a Winter Lecture Series, Sherburne History Day birthday party, summer Ice Cream Social, and the Christmas Tree Ornament Festival. We also have an Annual Meeting, fundraisers, and volunteer appreciation events. With nearly 100 programs per year, there’s always something going on at SHC!

March 2023

2–1:00 pm–SHC Book Club: Discussion of select books by Minnesota authors or Minnesota topics.
16–9:30 am–Elk River History Buffs–Topics of local historical interest offered at the Elk River Activity Center. Details via the Elk River Senior website.
25-10:30 am–Family History program: Monthly discussion group that gathers at SHC to learn about family history research and discuss their projects.

April 2023

29–Dennis Weaver Folk Concert–2:00 pm: Family fun with folk musician Dennis Weaver. in addition, beading projects for children of all ages.

Fun place to visit. Employees are fantastic and helpful. Highly recommend. Trails to go walking on, local history and other fun stuff to do here.
